I'll have to check it out!

Shelley - Spritzing the logs after they have been baked gently softens the outer crust just enough that it makes slicing them easier and you end up with less crumbles. It is a step that I really recommend. The extra moisture will evaporate during the second baking and does not make them soggy at all!Joehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12900263145684208002noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14099844.post-19436059865223004782008-12-08T10:36:00.000-05:002008-12-08T10:36:00.000-05:00Mmmm, I've been having roasted vegetables for lunc...Mmmm, I've been having roasted vegetables for lunch almost every day since Thanksgiving... yummy!

On an unrelated note, I was interested to see that one of your biscotti recipes calls for spritzing "the log" during the cooldown period after the first round of baking... can you talk a bit about what that's about? I've never done it and am curious (coming off a weekend biscotti-a-thon over at my place).Shelleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08861427053408203618noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14099844.post-29581232303073878802008-12-07T21:38:00.000-05:002008-12-07T21:38:00.000-05:00Hi Joe --Yes, love roasted vegetables ... although...Hi Joe --

Yes, love roasted vegetables ... although I have to say I'm not all that fond of roasting/grilling the cruciferous family!
