One item we make every year is one of Jeff's favorite fudge - Two Toned Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge. While we did make it this year, we also made a fun variation and used some of the cappuccino chips instead of peanut butter. Jeff seems to be torn between the two, but he has been grabbing for the new cappuccino version more often! Smooth, creamy and delicious - the two flavors married together to form unique rich bites that make you come back for more.
On Thursday, Jeff came home and told me to close my eyes as he had something to give me. When I opened them, I was surprised to see this!
Jeff's co-workers all got together and made this awesome apron to say thanks for all the goodies we make to bring in on Wednesdays! Too cool! I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you and that I can't wait until after the new year to start baking more treats for you guys!
That apron is so nice and thoughtful! Thank you for sharing that with all of us!
ReplyDeleteMmmm that fudge looks good. I'm looking forward to seeing the gingerbread house!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great gift! And no wonder they wanted to thank you.....just look at that fudge! It's goodies like that'll do it.
ReplyDeleteI know how you feel. Thank God I am done with the Holiday Baking and everything is already shipped. But the Fudge looks really good....
ReplyDeleteI love th Apron - DH's Co Workers can't even say thanks when he brings Homemade Goodies to work. That's why I stopped sending stuff to his workplace. But I will start working on Monday and I bet my Co-Workers and probably our customers will love Homemade Goodies :)
What a perfect gift for you, Joe! So thoughtful of the co-workers! I, too, would love to see the Gingerbread House.

I love the two-toned fudge... sounds great. I make fudge only occasionally since I don't always have the patience for the process. But, now I want to make some again after reading about it. Nice food pics on your site too!
ReplyDeleteLove the fudge! I have been tempted to try to do a batch this year, but time has escaped me and I am still baking cookies -love your site - tonnes of recipes
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering where the whole month has gone! I feel like I've gotten a lot done, but there's still so much left to do..........

ReplyDeleteThanks everyone! Stay turned for the gingerbread house... we are almost done!
ReplyDeleteFudge looked so good I had to try it! Couldn't find cappuccino chips, so I substituted white baking chips with two teaspoons instant espresso powder.
ReplyDeleteI also added some toasted hazelnuts. Great reviews from everyone who's tried it. Thanks for a wonderful recipe. Happy holidays!
Anon - Great subs! Glad to hear they worked well - toasted hazelnuts sound like a delicious addition!
