Out with the old...

and in with the new! Happy New Year!

2009 was certainly a roller coaster, with many highs and too many lows... Jeff and I are definitely looking forward to a fresh new year. This year we prepared over 300 new recipes, which brings the total to a whopping 1,880 we have posted since we began this journey!

We thought we'd end '09 with a recap of some favorite savory and sweet recipes we prepared throughout the year. It was hard to keep the list compact because we were lucky enough to enjoy quite the bounty of fantastic recipes, but below are the few we chose (in no particular order). Here's a question for you! Did you get a chance to try any recipes from the site this year? What were your favorites?

    Happy New Year. The last thing that I tried from your wonderful site was the Cinnamon Fudge. A big hit and a nice quick gift. Thanks for all the recipes. A number of them have become favorites.

    2009 was a tad hard on me too so I am as excited about the new year as you are Joe! Wish you both lots of amazing things to come and a year full of happiness and lots of love!

    Happy New Year to you and Jeff and Gus! And congrats on all of your recipes and posts...I can't believe you have posted so many! All of them are truly appreciated and anticipated :-)

    I have tried so many of your recipes...many, many of the biscotti (a huge hit with family!), and most of your vegan/vegetarian recipes as well. Thank you for the resource of your well organized blog!

    I just discovered your blog a few days ago, and I can't tell you how excited I was! I've already made the gingerbread popcorn, the two tone fudge and the kahlua pecans...Yummo!!

    Joe, you are my go-to blog for recipe ideas. The Pumpkin-Swirl Brownies were a bi hit for NYE. I've started a tradition making the pretzel/Rolo treat with my grandson at Christmas time - he loves them! Thank you again, & best wishes for a great New Year to you, Jeff & Gus.

    I've made several recipes from your blog but wanted to mention the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake squares. I made them for NYE dessert and we loved them! I want to try the white cheddar corn chowder next.
