Northwest Waldorf Salad (Adapted from CL)
3/4 cup finely chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped dried cherries
1/4 cup chopped hazelnuts, toasted
1/3 cup plain yogurt
3 tablespoons sour cream
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 Bartlett pears, cored and chopped into chunks
In a medium bowl, toss together celery, cherries and hazelnuts.
In another medium bowl, whisk together yogurt, sour cream, lemon juice and salt. Pour into the above mixture and toss to combine. Add the chopped pears and gently toss to combine. Cover and place in the refrigerator to chill for about 1 hour before serving.
Makes about 4-6 servings.
