Roasted Pistachio's
Wasabi Powder
Since it is Sunday already we should get a picture of at least one doggie up for the Weekend Dog Blogging event that Sweetnicks hosts. With the weather cooling down finally (85 today - woohoo!) Spike was out enjoying the nice weather in our brittle grass. The grass is slowly starting to green up again and soften some. Make sure to head on over and check out the rest of the cute dogs - she should have the wrap up posted sometime tonight!
Netflix brings us Identity tonight which is a thiller with Ray Liotta, John Cusack, and Rebecca De Mornay.
Check back with us each day to see what we manage to make next in the kitchen!

Wasabi powder..I had not seen it before. I shall be coming back to check out what will be on the menu.
ReplyDeleteWhat an excitement of ingedients you've so artfully arranged this weekend. Even my husband is looking forward to what YOU are posting for dinner this weekend.
ReplyDeleteCheers,
s'kat
I am intrigued and can't wait to see what will become of all those yummy ingredients.
ReplyDeleteYum, I like pistachios! Something good may be coming up!
ReplyDeleteAna
Identity is in our queue, as well...let me know how you liked it!
ReplyDeleteValentina,
ReplyDeleteIt is suppose to be pretty hot so I can't wait to use it!
S'Kat - Thanks!
Punky - I can't wait to use them, this week needs to hurry up!
Ana - Hopefully it turns out well!
Stephanie - It was good, but so not what I was expecting... a good twist in this movie!
Hey Jeff,
ReplyDeleteTee hee hee! I found you! Don't worry, I won't tell Joe you were attempting to trade away the dogs while he was busy making you yet another fabulous dinner. . . : )
P.S. One of the Secret Judges in the Name That Sheep Contest at Farmgirl Fare cannot stop LOL at all your comments (even the ones they've read three times already!) : )
Um...I wasn't trying to give away the dogs...er...ahh. It was more of a...ah...an exchange program! I was going to take them back...maybe.
ReplyDelete*runs and hides from Joe*
LOL, 'exchange program'--I like that. But note I did originally say 'trade away'. . . I didn't think you would just give your dogs away. Heck, you were even trying to get me to throw in Whitey!
ReplyDeleteNow if Miss Kitty were part of the deal. . . (and maybe some of those little donut cookies). . . : )
I miss Netflix! Maybe we could work a deal, trade French chocolate for American DVD's?
ReplyDeleteSomeone is busted...
ReplyDeletePaz - Spike is doing okay as long as he stops licking his foot! He's been pretty good lately...
David - Hmm French chocolate for only DVDs? Tempting :)
Farmgirl - I can send the cookies but I don't think the animals would be happy in a plane! Although.. Jeff might fit in a box well enough... and if he is lucky we would put a couple air holes!
LOL, that no airholes/box idea/threat sounds a lot like what continuosly circulates around here regarding The Doodle Monster. . . (not from me, of course) : )
ReplyDeleteMe again. Dumb question time! The new way of leaving comments is working great for me (as if you couldn't tell), but how do you get back to the Home page after leaving a comment?
ReplyDeleteGood morning Farmgirl!
ReplyDeleteIf you look up top by the box to type in a message, off to the upper left it says
"Post a Comment On: Culinary in the Desert"
The blog title links back to the main page.
Also at the very top it displays a link to just go back to this specific post.
Let me know if that helps!
Hey! I saw that ><
