Broccoli and Apple Salad (Adapted from CL)
2 1/2 tablespoons granulated sugar
6 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon canola oil
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
20 ounces fresh broccoli florets, chopped into 1 to 2" pieces
1 1/4 cups chopped crisp apples
1/4 cup finely minced sweet onion
In a large bowl, whisk together sugar, vinegar, mustard, canola oil, pepper and salt.
Add chopped broccoli, apples and onion. Toss well to coat.
